Week 59: Taxi Cop

Hello All,

Well its been raining quite a lot this past week. There seems to be only two types of weather here in Nicaragua; hot; or hot and rainy.  Which gets old, but such is life.

We have been working hard with a 17 year old named Chaco. His mom is a little hesitant to let him get baptized but we have been working with both of them and I think it is only a matter of time before they get baptized.

Funny story this week.  Today we saw a man get taken to jail in a taxi!  We were looking for a reference that someone had given us and as we were walking there we saw the police arresting a man.  However, all the cops were on motorcycles so they called a taxi and cuffed the man and took him to jail in the back of a Taxi.  We were dying laughing cause its like come on Nicaragua you cant take someone to jail in a taxi!

Another kind of funny story was we went to visit this guy and he was watching TV and the movie was Rio Bravo! Reminded me of home and Dad and good ole Johnnie Wayne, haha.

Anyway hope you all have a good week
